Paul Wengert Recognized as CMIR Fellow

Paul Wengert, CMIR has been awarded and recognized as a Certified Manager of Investment Recovery Fellow by the Investment Recovery Association. Wengert is one of three investment recovery professionals in the United States and Canada to earn the Certified Manager of Investment Recovery Fellow.

To earn the title of CMIR Fellow, Paul's significant contributions to the Investment Recovery Association and the profession were recognized by a committee of professionals and confirmed by the association board of directors. Among Paul's numerous contributions to the association are: Serving as the association president as a director and served the association numerous times as chairman of various committees. He is still active in the association on the education committee and is a premiere instructor and contributing author of the association training modules. Wengert has encouraged numerous companies to join the association over the years. Paul's contributions to the industry include: mentoring young professionals helping them recognize investment recovery as a viable and meaningful profession. He mentored his son into the profession and his son's company is now an active member of the association.

The Investment Recovery Association is an international organization for companies involved with the management of surplus and idle assets. The 300 members plus organization was established in 1981 and is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
